The program includes presentations by acknowledged Magento pros speaking about the advanced methods of Magento development and the requirements that eCommerce websites face today. One of the featured items of the agenda is the presentation by Max Pronko - avid public speaker and CEO of Pronko Consulting. Max is going to describe how to apply Service-Oriented Architecture for Magento 2 development.
Service-Oriented Architecture is an approach allowing to build apps based on components providing services to each other is becoming increasingly popular in software development. Magento is also gradually adopting SOA principles and becoming the platform for the creation of modular apps. Let us quote Max’s presentation directly for you to get the idea of what SOA can bring to Magento-based apps:
“For the last few years, the Magento 2 platform is moving into the decoupled state where each module is responsible for an individual operation. It allows to achieve higher performance, loose coupling and improve code quality. In this topic, we are going to dive into Service Oriented Architecture and see on an example of how this can be applied in Magento 2.”
During the meetup, Max will explain the advantages of using Service Oriented Architecture in building Magento 2 websites supporting them with practical examples. To get a taste of what you will see at the meetup, you are welcome to watch Max’s video tutorial on Service Isolated Architecture in Magento 2 below:
To cut a long story short, this is going to be a great boat journey where relaxed banter mixes with serious knowledge sharing and professional discussions are held against the sound of waves lapping at the boat hull. Max Pronko will be happy to meet you on the River Thames on this sunny day of June 12, 2019, to talk about Magento, website development, fabulous London views and joys of life.
